About our partnership

We maintain a deep, strategic partnership with Trend Micro and value them as our closest security partner. Trend Micro's security solutions are an important part of our portfolio and our day-to-day work. We work very closely with Trend Micro, especially in the area of IR - and these are undoubtedly situations in which you have to be able to rely on each other blindly as partners.

How we use Trend Micro

In the event of a cyber incident, we agree the strategy together after an initial analysis of the situation. Trend Micro provides temporary licences for your products in an uncomplicated manner, and we can also draw on the expertise of our system engineers in complex situations. Our consultants set up a reinforced ring of defence as quickly as possible with the help of Trend Micro products.

The following products form the core of such an infrastructure:

- Deep Discovery Inspector (DDI) - especially for analysing the situation in the network

- VisionOne - for obtaining situation data from the systems' telemetry

- ApexOne and CloudOne - for endpoint protection

- Cloud App Security and Trend Micro Email Security for securing mail traffic

 

This also focuses on supporting forensics in obtaining valuable information in order to be able to assess the situation and the necessary action safely and quickly.

The very intensive, uncomplicated cooperation between suresecure and Trend Micro in these situations, which are challenging at all levels, should be emphasised.

Many of our partners use Trend Micro in their infrastructure. In particular, the connection of the VisionOne XDR forms one of the most important foundations for the evaluation of events in our Security Operation Centre (SOC).

Therefore, after consultation with Trend Micro, we have decided to offer a co-managed detection and response service based on the Trend Micro MDR. We use the technology and expertise of the Trend Micro solution and also offer our customers direct support from our SOC in critical situations. This offering has been very well received by our partners and we intend to develop further services based on this.
