Successful presence at it-sa 23: Incident management as a key topic

In 2023, we were once again represented as an exhibitor with our own stand at it-sa in Nuremberg. it-sa is one of the most important trade fairs for IT security in Europe and we were proud to be able to present our companies - suresecure & securance - and our expertise at this important forum. This year, it-sa attracted a record number of 19,449 trade visitors from 55 countries and 795 exhibitors from 30 countries, setting new records. (Source: it-sa 365)

Our focus at the trade fair was on incident management. As specialists in IT security and risk management, we are committed to helping companies prepare effectively for potential security incidents and respond appropriately in the event of an emergency. The role of cyber insurance in claims settlement also played an important role. Our experts were on hand to advise visitors with their extensive specialist knowledge and focussed on three areas in particular:

Preparing for an incident

We showed our visitors the importance of a comprehensive risk assessment and how this serves as the basis for creating an effective security concept. We also provided information on best practices for identifying vulnerabilities and threats.

Emergency support

Effective incident management is crucial for responding quickly and appropriately in the event of a cyberattack. We presented our solutions that support companies in detecting, analysing and combating security incidents.

Claims management through cyber insurance

In order to protect companies from the financial consequences of a cyber attack, we explained the benefits of suitable cyber insurance. We provided information on the different types of insurance and showed how such a policy can cover the costs of incident response, reputational damage and other financial consequences.

It-sa 2023 was a great opportunity to showcase our expertise and solutions in the areas of incident management and cyber insurance. We firmly believe that prevention, early detection and rapid response to security incidents are crucial. The show also confirmed that companies are increasingly interested in cyber insurance to protect themselves from the financial risks of security incidents.
