Increasing use of cloud computing

Many companies are now being forced to modernise their infrastructure. This pressure to modernise is also reflected in the use of the trend of cloud computing . The transition towards cloud-based systems is alternative-free. The German economy and medium-sized companies in particular are continuing to follow the trend towards the cloud. The drivers for this are well-known push factors - there is talk of a "compulsion to the cloud", for example through Office 365.

At the same time, however, there are also pull factors. Tangible advantages that the practice of cloud technology brings with it. The more companies begin to embrace it, the clearer they become: cost efficiency, effort reductions, flexibility and obvious advantages for security.

One thing is certain: IT will no longer work without the cloud. A "no cloud policy" in companies will be comparable to a "no internet policy".
