The "Rising Star" title is awarded to us as a company with "high future potential" and a "promising portfolio", according to the ISG.

Cybersecurity - Solutions & Services 2022' ISG Provider Lens™ Study

The ISG Provider Lens

The ISG Provider Lens™ Quadrant research series is the only provider assessment of its kind that combines empirical, data-driven research and market analysis with the real-world experience and observations of ISG's global consulting team. The study currently covers providers offering services in the US,  Brazil, UK, France, Germany, Switzerland, Scandinavian countries, Australia and Singapore and Malaysia, with more markets to be added in the future.

The report for Germany assesses the capabilities of 97 providers in six quadrants: Identity and Access Management (IAM), Data Leakage/Loss Prevention and Data Security, Advanced Endpoint Threat Detection and Response (Advanced ETPDR), Technical Security Services (TSS), Strategic Security Services (SSS) and Managed  Security Services.

Advancing digitalisation, the global political situation and pandemics are increasing the need for IT security

The ISG sees wars and pandemics as the main reason for the increased demand for IT security services and solutions, as well as the simultaneous development towards a digital transformation of many companies, which in turn increases the attack surface.

"IT security is becoming corporate security," says Roger Albrecht, Co-Lead of the ISG Global Cyber Unit. "Cyber attacks can threaten a company's reputation and finances, which is why awareness of them is increasing in the minds of German managers."

At the same time, however, there is also the problem of a shortage of skilled labour. As the risks in Germany are increasing for both large and medium-sized companies, the need for cybersecurity consulting and information security is growing. Due to strict data protection regulations, most German companies rely on providers with security operations centres in Germany.

"German companies need to manage more users, devices and digital services than ever before," says Jan Erik Aase, Partner and Global Leader, ISG Provider Lens Research. "In many cases, service providers are taking on these roles."
